Mint Leaf Energy Assessors offer both domestic and commercial (non domestic) Energy Performance Assessment.
Buildings in the UK are now said to be responsible for around 50% of all the country's energy consumption. The Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) was introduced in the UK in January 2006 with the objective of improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions as part of the government's strategy to achieve a sustainable environment and meet climate change targets under the Kyoto Protocol. It has introduced higher standards of energy conservation for new and refurbished buildings and by October 2008 will require the energy performance certification of all buildings when sold or leased.
